Refrigerator keeps tripping the circuit breaker 10659069994 Kenmore Side-by-side refrigerator

Woke up this morning and the refrigerator was off. Rest the circuit breaker only to have it trip every time. Began unplugging items and resetting to troubleshoot WHAT was tripping it and as soon as I removed the refrigerator the circuit stayed live.

We have moved everything to the secondary fridge in the garage (29 year old whirlpool) removed all shelves and parts, defrosted, removed front vent cover, and rear dust cover and vacuumed out the mechanical compartment below the fridge - still causes the circuit to pop. There is nothing obvious wrong with the mechanisms we can see.

I am running out of ideas for troubleshooting and would probably only spend about $300 on maintenance costs before replacing the appliance. If anyone knows of issues that would present this symptom, or further troubleshooting steps please let me know.
