One of these was installed in my garden tractor and it has been working for the past 5 years without having to jump it off once! If you think you are saving money when you buy a cheap battery, think again. Improperly sized cheap batteries might last a year. If you spend $20 per year for 5 years you will have spent $100 on cheap batteries. Otherwise, you can properly size and buy one of these batteries and if it lasts over 5 years like mine has it will cost less than $50. Use your part no.
The original DieHard Gold U1R battery in my Craftsman lawn tractor lasted 7 years; I bought a replacement last July 2011 and it died August 2012. ?It could not even hold a charge, and since it was beyond the one year warranty, you could not even get a partial credit towards purchase. ?I am hoping this new one will be like the DieHard original, and not like the DieEasy replacement. ?There are replacement batteries in other distributors that have a sliding scale credit depending on battery age -- Sears should apply this sort of system.

|Reliable battery for the mower. Bought through the Battlefield Mall Sears Auto Shop. They came to my rescue as the lawn and garden sales associates did not carry them in that department. Don't understand why a garden tractor battery isn't for sale in the lawn and garden department.

|We purchased this battery 4/10/17 and we tried to charge the battery 4/21/18 and it won't charge. Sears won't replace it. ? It's been a very cold Spring which delayed our using the tractor which put us outside their warranty period by a few days. Very disappointing!
